2. When Should I Go?
Deciding when to leave is extremely important, as timing can have an enormous impact on the quality of your trip. For instance, if you end in India during the monsoon season or the Philippines during the typhoon season, you probably won’t enjoy it so much.
Prices fluctuate throughout the year, and of course, it’s cheaper to travel during the “off season” wherever you happen to be. It’s also important to take into consideration local festivals and holidays. If you go to Brazil during Carnival or to Vietnam during the Chinese New Year (Tet), you’ll struggle to find a place to sleep and probably pay sky-high prices for everything.
