12. Have a Plan B
It’s always good to remember that things go wrong, and if they do, you need to be prepared! Sometimes it can be something as simple as a flat tire or stomach ache, but other times it can be a motorcycle accident, tsunami, or a missed flight.
Make sure you buy travel insurance, and have your documents and cards with you all the time. You should also listen to your instincts and if you feel there’s something weird going on or you’re not comfortable about something, leave.
