10. Family and Friend’s Houses
Isn’t it great to have family and friends all over the world? When you visit a new destination, you’re not going there only as a tourist, but also to spend time with your loved ones. Most of the time, if they’ve been living there for a while and are practically locals, they can show you the secrets of the place.
It’s always important to remember that you’re not staying in a hotel – no one wants obnoxious guests! You should help with the grocery shopping, do the dishes, and generally clean up after yourself. Ideally, you should finish it off by cooking a great goodbye meal.
