Traveling is a lot more than jumping from one tourist attraction to the other. Sometimes, it’s important to have a more active approach to your adventure instead of just passively visiting museums, famous squares, and holy sites.
There are only so many Game of Thrones episodes you can watch before you get bored (or is there?) and feel like doing something else. The same theory applies here. It’s a good idea to mix in hiking, horseback riding, swimming, or even playing sports with the local population.
