6. Don’t Speak Ill of the Politics of the Country You’re Visiting … at Least Until You Get Home
Espionage isn’t only for the movies. Some countries have English speaking spies, and incriminating evidence of badmouthing their government can land you in serious trouble. Freedom of speech is something we all too often take for granted in America. In foreign countries, your speech might be monitored, so keep in mind that the risk can be high for speaking your mind.
