How to Travel With Your Partner Without Going Crazy

Try to Laugh When Things Go Wrong

The best thing to do in a situation like this is to laugh about it. My boyfriend and I were once on a bus in the mountains in Laos and at least seven of the locals riding the bus were suffering from motion sickness.

The bus floor was covered in vomit and we were holding our feet off the floor, trying not to breathe. When it didn’t seem like the puking would ever stop, we just looked at each other and started laughing at the absurdity of the situation. It was a pretty disgusting experience, but we could either let it ruin our day or we could laugh about it.
