How to Travel With Your Pet
| October 22, 2018
1. Necessary Documents
Although each country has specific requirements, the main documents you should carry with you are a pet passport (or third-country veterinary certificate), proof of rabies vaccination, possibly a blood test, and, if you have a dog, a tapeworm treatment.
You’ll also need to have your pet microchipped before entering some countries, including the whole of the EU. Some countries might ask for an Import Permit, as your pets are treated as cargo, pretty much like international trading.
