Not Taking Backup Storage for Your Photos
Bring a hard drive, a pen drive or some other backup storage and keep it in a separate, safe location in your backpack. Every couple of days, copy your photos from your camera memory card to your backup storage. You will really regret not doing this if your camera is lost or stolen. The camera can be reimbursed on your travel insurance, but those photographs of priceless moments cannot ever be replaced.
