The Harry Potter story continues with the newest episode in the tale — Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a play in two parts written by Jack Thorne, J.K. Rowling, and John Tiffany. The play follows an adult Harry Potter and his youngest son, Albus Severus Potter.

The original West End production opened in July 2016, and the original cast moved to reprise their roles in the Broadway production, which opened in 2018. There are currently plans to open a third official sit-down production of Cursed Child in Melbourne, Australia in 2019.
