While rising water levels cause increased concern across the globe thanks to global warming, they pose nothing but doom for islands. There are literally thousands of small islands that are in danger of elimination, but no area is currently preparing for this type of reality as Oceania is.
Those who live in the Tuvalu, Tonga, Kiribati, Marshall, Cook, and Micronesia Islands will most likely need to find a new place to live within the next 30 to 40 years when their houses, along with those beautiful white sandy beaches, get buried under the Azure sea. The hordes of tourist that flock to this region annually will also need to find a new vacation destination spot.
