4. Tel Aviv, Israel
If you’ve ever visited the Middle East, it’s hard to imagine a secular city among the deeply religious and traditional region. Tel Aviv is one of a few exceptions.
Located on the coast of Israel, Tel Aviv is a bustling metropolis that honors its religious heritage in a way that’s accessible to all residents and visitors. Their night life is incredible. Many of their hottest bars are located in basements, and boast a hip vibe that doesn’t stop till dawn. In the morning, sleep it off, then head out in search of food. The Carmel market is a popular stop for amazing hummus (at Hummus HaCarmel), then you can head down to Jaffa for amazing antique and vintage shops.
