4. Búri
Everyone should experience something so magnificent that it defies belief at least once in their lives. For many people, they found this experience at the Búri cave. Located a short drive from Reykjavik, the cave was only discovered in 2005, but since then has become a major tourist attraction. The cave was formed by a huge tunnel of lava that cooled off in an irregular manner, forming a huge underground cave. The cave is over 30 feet high, and runs for over a mile. In cold weather, huge icicles that resemble stalagmites and stalactites form beautiful sculptures throughout the cave.
