The Samyang Ranch

This is Asia’s largest green pasture, as the vast meadow is a place for milking cows to feed on the clean and fresh grass. With a view from 1,470 meters high, you can see the Gangneung, Jumunjin Beach, and the East Sea from the observatory.

The Samyang Ranch is located on the hills of the Daegwallyeong and is 850-to-1,470 meters above sea level. Several films have used the Samyang Ranch as their base of locations including Autumn in my Heart and Lover’s Concerto.

Originally, it was operated as a petting zoo, but has since been taken over by a leading Korean food and dairy company.
