Back to the Americas we go. This time to the coast of Oregon near the mouth of the Yaquina River.

The Yaquina Bay Light was built in Paris and transported to Oregon all the way back in 1868. If you find pictures of the Yaquina Bay Light creepy, you aren’t alone. The light was featured in the 2002 horror flick The Ring.

Interesting note: the light still has its original 1800s era lens. They certainly don’t make things like they used to.
