Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is sometimes considered Thailand’s second capital, and it’s the main hub in the north of the country. It was founded in 1296 CE, and visitors can still see the moats surrounding the Old City.
The city has come to prominence in recent years due to the rise of digital nomads (professionals who work online with their laptops). With cheap prices, fast Internet, and rich culture, Chiang Mai is the ideal destination for expats and alike.
