Death Road, Bolivia
Running down from the Andes and into the rainforest, “Death Road” in Yolosa, Bolivia is known as one of the most treacherous stretches of road due to the 11,000 foot winding path down a sharp decline, with inadequate road barriers standing between you and your fate. This doesn’t stop adrenaline junkies from attempting the journey; some even dare to cycle down it. Somewhere between 200-300 cyclists and motorists are killed on Death Road each year.
