The Best Distilleries in the USA

3. Woodford Reserve

Woodford Reserve Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is actually made in two different locations. Spirits from their pot still in Woodford County are mixed with column still spirits from another distillery in nearby Shively, and the resulting combination is the deliciously rich bourbon that we know and love.

The Woodford Reserve distillery building is open for tours and visitors all year round, and the grounds and architecture on site, where distilling has been happening since 1780, are incredible to see first-hand. Tours are offered seven days a week and allow visitors to craft their own cocktail assisted by their on-site mixologists.
