The World’s Most Beautiful Private Homes

Antilia – Mumbai, India
The most expensive private house in the world is owned by Mukesh Ambani, an Indian billionaire who recently built Antilia – a 27-floor building that cost around $2 billion USD. It’s located in South Mumbai, and has been sharply criticized because most people think that an insane display of wealth like that has no place in a city where many citizens sleep on the street every night.
The land was actually bought from an orphanage, who sold it for well under market value because they needed the money to continue operating. Antilia has three helipads, and requires a staff of 600 to operate every day.
