3. Expect Rice and Beans with Most Meals

Unless you’re eating pasta or some sort of fast food, like hamburgers or pizza, most meals in Brazil will come with rice and beans. You’ll probably have a protein source (chicken, beef, or fish), along with rice, beans, salad, and a selection of vegetables.
