If you’re planning to go on a South American adventure, a good place to start is Chile. It has a higher standard of living than other nearby countries. That’s not to say you shouldn’t take precautions – don’t walk around flaunting your expensive jewelry and gadgets in the big cities.

Chile is a long strip of land, located on the west side of South America. Visitors can enjoy many different climates and landscapes, from Chilean Patagonia in the south, to the ski resorts in the center, to the Atacama Desert in the north.
