10. Teh Tarik – Malaysia

Malaysia’s national drink, teh tarik can be found anywhere. The name means “pulled tea”, as the preparation involves pouring the tea between two containers until it is frothy and ready to be consumed.

Very much like the Burmese tea, it’s a mix of black tea, evaporated milk, and condensed milk. It’s usually served by creating a long stream of tea without any spillage to impress others. You can usually find it served with Roti canai for breakfast.
