Away We Go (2009)

A cute romantic story starring John Krasinki and Maya Rudolph as a young couple expecting their first baby who go out into the world in search of the perfect place to start their family. Along the way they reconnect with old friends and family members and try to have a great time together. This movie inspires us to travel not for the sake of going on an adventure, but to find a place to call home.

Away We Go reminds us that not everyone who travels does so to go out and see the sights and then go home. Some want to find a new place to settle into, a place to build a future.

The Sound of Music (1965)

A tale of music, a tale of love, and a tale of the romance that awaits just outside your doorstep. The musical play-turned-feature-film is a classic starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer that teaches us all about how we can find love in the most unlikely places. But it also shows us that the world is a wonderful place and we should never feel held back from exploring it; after all, if Maria (Andrews) never left her home town, she never would have met the love of her life!

Pirates of the Caribbean (2003)

“Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me,” as the song goes. Nothing inspired people to take to the high seas quite like Captain Jack Sparrow from the hit film Pirates of the Caribbean. With exotic Caribbean islands and the clear blue water to entice us, many of us dreamed of life on the sea after watching this movie.

Starring three of the most attractive people in Hollywood, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley (call me!) and a slew of fantastic supporting actors, Pirates was more than just a movie, it was an experience.

Styles of Wrestling from Around the World

Most of us are familiar with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). This brand rose in popularity within the 1980s, thanks to the likes of Hulk Hogan and “Macho Man” Randy Savage, who placed wrestling on the pop culture map. As time wore on, the WWE has built a mass marketing and entertainment empire through their larger-than-life personalities, including the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Triple H. Still, why some out there can state the WWE does profile some wrestling, it is a far cry from the true techniques that are involved in the sport itself.

Why You Should Travel While You’re Still Young

If you’re worried about embarking on a travel adventure and wondering whether it’ll negatively affect your life, the simple answer is “no, it won’t.” In fact, when you stop to take a closer look at it, the benefits considerably outweigh the risks. While in the past it may have looked like a frivolous undertaking, nowadays it’s considered a character-defining experience. If you have the chance to travel now, take it without thinking as your future-self will be forever grateful for the lessons, friends, and memories you will make.

Most Intense Long-Distance Marathons (Not for the Faint of Heart)

For those among us who love a challenge, these long-distance marathons and outdoor challenges are activities that can only be attempted after years of training, with the right gear, and only by those who are mentally ready to undergo such a feat.
