Performing only slightly better than its neighboring cities of Bakersfield and Visalia, Modesto is yet another sunny San Joaquin Valley city that is ranked among the least educated communities in America.
Although Modesto might not attract a significant number of college grads or professionals, at least their high school graduation rate of 81% is more or less in line with the national average.
