Pulque
Pulque is a very unique drink found in Mexico. It’s traditional to the central part of the country where it has been produced and consumed for thousands of years. In fact, Pulque dates back to the time of the Aztecs, where it was considered a sacred drink.
Traditional alcoholic pulque has a milky consistency and a yeasty, sour taste. Natural pulque, despite its history, may not be so delightful, which is why flavored variations are available. Flavors that are popular among tourists include strawberry, mango, and guava.
