That left the students, junior teachers, and I to take down the parking lot structures.

So, to review, if you get more than three hours’ notice about any school event in Thailand—be very afraid. When given the microphone, keep yourself entertained with some difficult grammar and bad puns. Finally, most importantly, when the head honcho goes for a drink, manipulate your undeserved celebrity to catch a ride with them. The alternative is disassembling metal scaffolding in medieval Thai costume in 120 degree weather.
