Which makes complete sense as to why many head to the Harbin Ice Festival in China, with over a million travelers present at the event in 2017. The tourism industry is on high alert to this ice-cold travel trend, with hotels popping up in the Arctic Circle, Northern Sweden opening new accommodations, and other tourist attractions increasing in popularity, including the Finnish Lapland tour, as well as Russia’s Reindeer Herders excursion.
