Travelers nowadays want to taste local cuisine, shop at small markets in the area, and see their vacation through the eyes of locals in the area. Airbnb’s success has helped to heighten this desire when it comes to immersing ones’ self on vacation and the idea of homestays, which allows a traveler to be as one with the locals while on vacation.

In fact, online startups in some popular European countries link up travelers with chefs in the area to provide a fun cooking class, with a local flare, and experience first-hand how to make authentic meals and then enjoy them after the fact; creating a very customized cultural experience while on vacation.
