Tiger tail is made of orange flavored ice cream with a ribbon of licorice running throughout. It was a well-known favorite during the post war years, but now many people just keep it on the menu for nostalgia’s sake — and because fans of this unique flavor kick up a huge fuss whenever ice cream companies make any reference to retiring their beloved favorite.
