Another flavor that Americans scorn but Canadian rave over is Ketchup chips. They’re extremely tangy but have a sweet undertone that keeps you reaching back into the bag for more. In Canada, you can find a few different types of chips flavored with ketchup, but the best ones are the lighter Lay’s, rather than the ridged Ruffles, whose heavy potato chip flavor overpowers the delicate ketchup taste. Don’t even bother with Ketchup Doritos.
