Travel the World from Your Couch: The Wonders of VR

First Airlines Dream Vacations

In the digital-world of VR travel, Japan’s First Airlines is way ahead of the game.

For just $46, you can be whisked away to Paris, New York, Rome, or Hawaii with First Airlines, the first virtual aviation facility in the world. Just like a first class, airplane experience, you’ll board a comfy seat, be served a gourmet in-flight meal, and walk the streets of your desired destination. The controlled, airplane cabin-like environment uses VR tour visuals, audio, smells, and more to simulate an authentic travel experience.

It may sound like a strange way to travel, but I’d pay $50 just to satisfy my own curiosity.
