8 Reasons Not to Skip Sao Paulo
| January 20, 2016
SP is a big city stop for any nature-lover
Ibirapuera park is one of the biggest city parks I’ve ever seen, similar to Central Park in New York. It feels like a calm and tranquil natural escape in the middle of a crazy city. It’s easy to forget that you’re even in a city, if it wasn’t for the beautiful skyline in the background.
The park is the best place in Sao Paulo to get some outdoor physical exercise, whether it be running, walking, or biking. There are even dedicated bike lines for serious cyclists.
If relaxation is more of your style, the ponds, old trees, and peaceful bird songs will lull you into tranquility. It’s an awesome place to bring a blanket and read a book by the water.
