9 Must-Attend German Beer Festivals That AREN’T Oktoberfest

Krenmarkt in Baiersdorf
Baiersdorf is a celebration of not only German beer but also German food. And when I mean food, I’m referring to anything prepared or served with horseradish. Baiersdorf falls at the end of horseradish harvest and serves as a time for local farmers to unwind with a stein to celebrate a good harvest or to drown their sorrows in hopes of a better season next year. Either way, festivalgoers get to enjoy two proud German traditions. Maybe you can even get your photo with the Horseradish Queen!
