Leave everything just as you found it – if not better
A good way to help the environment is to not disturb it. If you plan on taking any nature hikes on your vacation, be sure to stay on marked paths so as not to impact the local plants or animals. Avoid the temptation of taking souvenirs from nature, such as flowers or shells, and don’t introduce any non-native species. Better yet, follow the old Boy Scout campground rule of leaving a place better than you found it by picking up any litter you might see on your way.
