6. Think About Your Carbon Footprint
You’ve already learned about staying at eco-friendly hotels, but to really offset your carbon footprint, you should always make decisions that take the environment into consideration. For instance, is it possible to take a train instead of flying to your destination?
Sometimes it can be as simple as choosing to walk to a nearby attraction rather than getting a taxi and contributing to air pollution. Or maybe carry a bottle of water with you, instead of buying plastic ones, if the place you’re visiting doesn’t have strong recycling laws.
