13. Be gentle with yourself
Being in a new city can be really difficult, and pushing yourself to get out and enjoy it can sometimes make you feel worse. Cut yourself some slack if you’re exhausted and just feel like staying home sometimes. Making friends, succeeding in a new job, and exploring your neighborhood all require energy — make sure you’ve got enough by making self care a priority.
