White Chili
White chili, which some people may turn to as a healthier alternative, is exactly the same as regular chili, except instead of beef, pork, or game, this chili contains either chicken or turkey. It stays a paler color because of the use of white beans, rather than kidney or black beans. The liquid used is often broth or stock, and sometimes corn is added. It’s often served garnished with shreds of white cheese like Monterey Jack or cheddar, chopped cilantro leaves or green onions. Although chili peppers are an ingredient, they don’t feature as heavily as they do in other recipes.
