Obviously not an employee of your hotel, as we’ve already established their opinion has been bought. What about the lady standing next to you in line for coffee at the corner café, or the guy sitting next to you at the bar? Strike up a conversation! Not only will you learn more about local culture, but you’ll also receive countless food suggestions. I had one of the best meals of my life in Brussels because I asked a local beer nerd sitting next to me where he suggested I eat.
