Don’t you just love some of these names? Is anyone else thinking of the song Wooly Bully? Anyway, the two have nothing in common. Wollwurst is a naked sausage in that it’s cooked without any casing. It’s boiled and then fried to give it a crisp exterior. It’s German engineering at its finest, in terms of sausage.
