7. The Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express
Known as the longest train journey in the world at 6,600 miles, the journey between Moscow and Vladivostok can take up to 15 days and crosses through eight time zones, but it can be made in comfort aboard the Golden Eagle. This luxury passenger train runs along the famed Trans-Siberian railway passing through Siberia, and by sites like the world’s largest fresh water lake, Lake Baikal, and the Ural Mountains.
If you’d prefer to see more of Asia than Europe, the Golden Eagle also has alternate routes that take you to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A 15-day trip from Moscow to Vladivostok starts at around $16,000 USD and can run up to $33,000 if you want to receive the full Tsar treatment in the Imperial Suite.
