Picture Perfect Places to Say “I Do”

Caribbean

If you’re considering getting married in the Caribbean, the first step is looking into which island you’d like to get married on. Some good choices are St. Martin, St. Lucia, and Turks and Caicos. Each island offers a different experience, but all are equipped with grand hotels and resorts. The islands are home to common chains, so if you want to get away but maintain a sense of familiarity, it’s the perfect location.

The Caribbean weather is quite similar to other island locales, so take into account hurricane season before booking your big day. Also, expect to pay between $3,000 and $6,000 for an all-inclusive package.

Italy

There are quite literally hundreds of beautiful places for you to have a wedding in Italy. This romantic country is home to some of the most lavish places, including Rome, Venice, Lake Como, and Tuscany. You can rent your own Villa and have an intimate event in Lake Como or choose a grand Roman Catholic church in Rome.

Incredibly scenic, an Italy wedding is a great choice if you want to feel luxurious and get stunning photos. But keep in mind that April to October is peak wedding season. The majority of weddings happen in this period, although it does get quite hot around July and August. Also, the week of August 15th is the most popular national holiday in Italy, so we recommend you avoid this time.

As for the cost, it depends on the venue and the number of guests. For the venue alone, you can expect to pay $2,500 for a single-day booking, while a large Villa with accommodation for up to 80 guests can run for $11,000.

Hawaii

Hawaii is home to gorgeous beaches, making it the perfect choice for a beach wedding. But there are also breathtaking mountains and cliffs that make it even more appealing. It’s an easy getaway, allowing family and friends to come without the huge cost.

The weather in Hawaii is perfect all year round, but there is always the chance that it may rain. What you want to consider is which side of the island you get married on, as it’s known that the east shore is more prone to wind and rain. And of course, Hawaii does experience hurricane season between July and November.

Wedding packages vary but typically start at $1,100. If you have your wedding on the beach, you save yourself the huge venue cost and only pay a $60 fee. It’s great for the budget-conscious couple.
