Lake Como
This gorgeous glacial lake in Northern Italy has been attracting the wealthy and well known since the times of the Romans. Nestled amongst rolling mountains that are dotted with quaint villages, Lake Como is so beautiful that it’s almost otherworldly — so it’s no wonder that parts of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones were shot there.
If you’re not seeing celebrities at work, you might catch some of them getting a bit of R&R lakeside in one of the stunning centuries-old villas now owned by stars like George Clooney, Madonna and Gianni Versace.
