Decked out with private beaches, pools, tennis courts and a staff of 60, Necker Island has attracted a number of stars over the years including Princess Diana of Wales, Eddie Murphy and Robert De Niro. She probably got a lifetime invite to the island when she carried Sir Richard’s 90-year-old mother out of a burning house after a fire broke out there in 2011.
