5 Relaxing Places to Catch Your Breath in Wien, Austria

Go up and be observant from the Stefansdom towers’ mighty point of view

Yes, a literal point of view. Well, two actually. The Stefansdom has two towers and here’s your pick: you either want to go up in the Bell Tower (the shorter one) by an elevator, or you want to work out your way to the higher tower (the South Tower, also known as Steffl). Come on, there are only 343 steps to go! Hey, whichever you choose, the view is amazing and the quiet is guaranteed. You can do both, of course; this was my pick, actually!

But here’s my hint: most tourists will choose the easy way (of course) and elevate themselves to the top of the Bell Tower, so chances are that you find more peace and quiet within the taller, harder to conquer South Tower. The higher you go, the sweeter the reward, right? But that’s only my personal advice if you want to opt for one of them and you’re physically able to climb hundreds of stairs.
