6 Unforgettable Places in Chernivtsi, Ukraine

4. Turkish Well Square

Yet another stunning cultural spot to stop by: the Turkish Well Square was left by the Turks as their domination (a short domination, but still…) mark in Chernivtsi. However, the place’s name is inspired by the well (you can see it, it’s just in the square and it is absolutely lovely) with the exact same title.

The square also known as the Turkish bridge and offers us an amazing view of the neighboring villages and Carpathian Mountains. The small Turkish Well Square is romantic, welcoming, cozy, and it seems not to want let you go too soon.

Besides the famous well, you can see other outstanding items, such as a delicate floral clock and a big bike, which was a gift from the smiths for the city’s 600th anniversary.

Ready for the next place on the list? OK, OK, we’ll stay a bit longer.
