6 Unforgettable Places in Chernivtsi, Ukraine

5. The Ship House (Shifa)

Built in the late 19th century, the Ship House (Shifa) is a charming building known by both locals and tourists as the ship-house. The explanation is, in the same time, simple and exciting: the house is very similar to a big, classic and luxurious ship.

And let me tell you a little secret: while I was admiring this beauty, I could easily visualize a spectacular ship floating gracefully on the river-streets of Chernivtsi. This calm, maritime touch most certainly compliments the surrounding urban setting.

As much as I wish to spend more time gazing at this postcard-like image, we have to sail away to our last soon-to-become unforgettable place.
