America’s 15 Best Towns for Halloween
| October 31, 2016
Northalsted, Chicago
The Northalsted neighborhood of Chicago is known for their amazing Halloween costume parade and contest. All are welcome to enter the parade, which travels about .7 of a mile along the main street of the neighborhood, but only a select few are crowned the winners of the costume contest. There are five different categories: pet costumes, drag, scariest, most original, and best group.
If you didn’t win a prize in the costume contest, you can always drown your sorrows at one of the clubs or bars that line the parade route.
