4. Punkin Days – Floydada, Texas
If you live in Texas, you’re probably already familiar with Floydada, an area of Texas that produces most of the state’s pumpkins. Every year, farmers from around the area gather downtown to celebrate Punkin Days with the creation of a massive pumpkin patch and fall fair right in the center of town.
It happens on the second Saturday of October every year and goes from morning until late at night. There are tons of activities, food vendors, and even a pumpkin-themed 5K run for charity.
