The World’s Most Beautiful Skylines

Dubai, UAE

The city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is so amazing because their skyline was virtually non-existent 50 years ago. The 1980s saw a huge rise in ongoing construction projects, which was a direct result of the oil boom of the 1960s. All of this new revenue allowed for rapid growth of infrastructure, including record breaking projects like the Burj Khalifa (which is currently the tallest structure in the world), and the Burj Al Arab, which is now the world’s most expensive hotel.

The Burj Khalifa is home to the world’s highest observatory deck, which gives an unbelievable view of the city skyline, as well as the Palm Jumeirah, an artificial archipelago finished in 2006.
