Stone Forest, China
Found in the Yunnan Province in China, the Stone Forest is made up of large, gravestone-like limestone rocks, some reaching up to 100 feet tall. Formed by 270 million years worth of water erosion, these formations are known as “karsts” and are named for the region in Slovenia where they were first discovered.
