Shark Head – Cavendish, Prince Edward Island
Cavendish often brings to mind visions of frozen French fries destined for the oven, rather than larger-than-life marine predators, but breaking through a roof in this maritime town is the many-toothed mouth of a ferocious looking shark. Perhaps it pays homage to a 5.2 m great white shark caught off the coast of PEI in 1983. That particular shark still holds the record as the biggest great white shark ever to have been accurately measured.
